1-Day Concrete Coatings

It all starts with a conversation. Just like at the beginning of a painting or carpentry project, one of our experienced representatives will come out to discuss your project and review your needs. We’ll answer any questions as well, and then create a detailed proposal for you to review.

After the details have been confirmed and scheduling is complete, we’ll get to work! This includes:

• Step 1 - Surface prep and repairs: grinding and cleaning
• Step 2 - Concrete reconstruction: pits and cracks are filled
• Step 3 - Penntek’s 100% solids, self-priming, pure polyurea basecoat is mixed and applied
• Step 4 - The color chips are generously broadcasted by hand
• Step 5 - The floor is scraped and vacuumed to remove any loose or vertical-standing flake
• Step 6 - The final step is to roll out the UV stable polyaspartic clear coat

In fact, this polyurea system is 4x stronger than epoxy! Here are a few other ways it definitely proves itself superior:

• Polyurea coatings can withstand UV rays, unlike epoxy that is prone to fading and yellowing.
• Polyurea cures quickly, allowing us to offer our signature 1-day coating services. Epoxy takes much longer to installa and cure before it can be back in use, a minimum 3-5 days turnaround.
• Polyurea won’t chip or peel when temps change or through heavy use, but epoxy can. This makes polyurea a much better option for our Bend, OR seasons!
