It's all about the Prep
At Webfoot Painting we understand that thorough prep is the foundation of a quality paint job. Our prep process is always customized to address your individual project’s needs. We do not send a crew out to quickly paint over your paint problems. We tackle each project separately and give each one the proper inspection and attention that it requires. We do this because no two projects are the same, they are built with different materials by different builders, painted under different weather conditions, and are faced with different levels of wear and tear. We want to get to the root of the problem, not just cover up the symptoms.
With most home repaints you can expect Webfoot Painting to do the following prep:
* Complete pressure wash of all surfaces to be finished
* Hand scrap of any flaking, peeling, or cracking paint
* Orbital sand of all failing trim boards (fascias, cornerboards, window and door trim)
* Prime of all bare surfaces using XIM Peel Bond Primer (the best on the market)
* Thorough masking of all foundation, windows, decks, patios, etc.
* Removal of loose sealant/caulking around house
* Reapplication of sealant around all cracked window and siding joints
After this process we apply the right paint products and the appropriate number of coats. The result is a perfectly painted project that looks great for many years. Over time it is our prep work that gives you, our customer, the most value for your money.
