$5000 Painting Charity Giveaway Winner

 Bend, OR, March 14th: Last Friday afternoon, the Webfoot Painting team gathered to hold a vote to decide the winner of their 2nd Annual $5000 Painting Charity Giveaway.  This giveaway is designed to aid non-profits and families with painting services who could not otherwise afford them.  With so many groups feeling the constraints of these times, the number of nominations was great.  The Top 5 Candidates were determined and a detail breakdown of each of their needs was presented and discussed.  Each member of the Webfoot team was allowed one vote, as well as one vote for each supporting sponsor (Dana Signs, Pronto Print, and Sherwin Williams).  It was a very close vote, but in the end it was the Deschutes Children’s Foundation as the winner.  Their Rosie Bareis Community Campus at 1029 NW 14th will be receiving $5000 in painting services from Webfoot Painting’s team of seriously great painters with all products and materials being donated by our local Sherwin Williams. 

Deschutes Children’s Foundation manages four collaborative campuses located in Bend, La Pine and Redmond. Currently these campuses are home to 27 human service programs that last year experienced more than 75,000 client visits.  Their mission is to promote a community of services for the children and families of Deschutes County by providing rent-free facilities and no-cost property management for human service. Deschutes Children’s Foundation’s values are simple. They believe children and families are society’s building blocks, a comfortable and respectful environment fosters good results, communication and collaboration produce good outcomes, and our community deserves accountability and efficient use of its resources. They receive no federal, state, or local tax dollars and rely solely on the support of the community.  Now they can include Webfoot Painting as one of their supporters. 

The Foundation’s Rosie Bareis Community Campus has not been painted in over a decade and any passerby traveling down NW 14th can take notice.  This particular campus provides facilities for: Central Oregon Mediation, Family Mediation Services, Healthy Beginnings, KIDS Center, Legal Aid Services of Oregon, Money Management International, Rimrock Trails, Saving Grace, and Women’s Resource Center of CO.  

With the winner of their 2nd Annual Painting Charity Giveaway announced, Webfoot Painting owner’s Gavin Hepp and Travis Ulrich are excited to help out another worthy non-profit in Central Oregon.  “This giveaway has allowed us and our staff to really help out some great people in Central Oregon.  Work like this has become a part of our company’s culture.  Our staff willing donates their time and feels pride in sharing their talents.  This giveaway will continue every year as a thank you for the support Central Oregon shares with us.”
